UPDATE ON CROSS COUNTRY TRAILS FEBRUARY 5, 2023
The cross country trails were assessed last week the Trees were cleared after the hurricane, but the ice storm a couple weeks ago brought down more trees. Unfortunately, we will not be able to open the XC trails this season. The plan is this summer to begin tree removal again
Ski Wentworth has a small rental fleet of cross country skate skis
Wentworth has 10 kilometres of groomed intermediate to advanced cross country ski trails at the top of the mountain. (not recommended for beginners).

Access via chairlift.
MUST ski down Chickadee alpine ski trail (beginner/green trail)
Check snow report for details.
Open 9am-3:30pm
Must check in at chair top hut at top of mountain before and after using trails.

Wentworth Cross Country Information
Wentworth cross country trails are recommended for intermediate to advanced Nordic skiers. Inquire as to when the trails have last been groomed and conditions to be expected. The trails are not patrolled regularly. Please have a cell phone available with you for safety.

Cross Country Chairlift Tickets are $17.40+hst to access the trails at the top of Wentworth Mountain.
We have limited rentals available for cross country. $35.00+hst
The trails are accessible at the very top of the mountain directly ahead of you as you exit the chair.
Familiarise yourself with the map provided.
The trail to High Head is considered a hiking/snowshoe trail and is not groomed.
Do or Die is also considered a hiking/snowshoe/Nordic trail and is not groomed.
After your ski or snowshoe you must ski down the mountain.
The alpine trail “Chickadee” is recommended and is the easiest way down the mountain. As you come out of the cross country trails it is to your right and signed with a green circle.
Please make sure you exit the cross country trails before the Chickadee is swept and closed for night skiing. It is an unlit trail and roped off an hour before sunset.
